!a! (יאי) - idol-less and idle-less:About
!a! is an open source philosophy centering mainly around the linux community. it goes beyond being open to the source code of the software which is used and even goes beyond being open to the coders who code our software. we are grateful to all of these software engineers. however, we believe that also computers ought to be open to the Source of All Things. nothing on our computer systems should ever be permitted to keep us from being open to the Source of All Things.
it is for this reason that !a! obtains its name. !a! is pronounced as ee-ah-ee and is an acronym meaning idol-less and idle-less. we recognize that the idolatry of the computer world which is often disguised with words such as eye candy is a leading cause of degradation of system performance in our computers. sometimes it is represented by the hebrew word יאי which means proper, befitting and suitable.
the project is beginning here with miykaEl yisraEl at israEl coming. he can be reached through email at miykaElyisraEl@israelcoming.org. it is a losely structured community of fellowship with Yahushua as its commander and all men being equal as the ant.
the following loose structure of !a! will allow free flow of information while giving users a means of being somewhat confident of the end product of any code or tutorials. when a project is posted for !a! it will be posted as being in exile as though being tried in the wilderness for forty days. after it receives testimony from three witnesses that it is working then it will be upgraded to received status.
from the beginning !a! will focus on three areas of achieving the goals of idol-less computers which are known to be idle-less. firstly, security will be adressed in order to minister to Yahuay's people and instruct them on better ways to be secure in their computer experiences. secondly, language, locale, and terminolgy will be adjusted to remove all pagan influence possible from our computer systems. thirdly, will focus in on the great reduction of useless eye candy which slows down our computers and with the blessed endurance to the complete elimination of pagan idols from off of our machines.
